ibis Colmar Centre

It is centrally located and pretty much everything was within walking distance. Living up to Ibis standards, the room was clean with a comfortable bed and well use of the small space with hooks on the wall for coats/clothes and useful shelf above the table to make up for lack of space in the room. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They provide parking in the parking garage in the building across the street for EUR11 per night. They also serve breakfast in the hotel but we did not make use of this facility.

The hotel is very conveniently located as its just a few minutes away by foot to the center of Colmar. The hotel was calm and the rooms comfortably sized and rather quiet. Free coffee is available throughout the afternoon.

We arrived before checkin time during a heavy rain shower. The receptionist was very helpful and arranged for our rooms to be ready allowing us to change out of wet clothes. The rooms are fairly basic but have everything you need . The breakfast was fine with enough space to sit down without feeling rushed. There is parking outside The hotel is well located for main routes and the city centre area.

We were traveling by bicycle and they had a secure, covered bicycle parking space. The location, just on the edge of the old town is perfect for walking to explore or to reach restaurants. The buffet breakfast was excellent. They had gluten-free bread and madelines available.

Great friendly and helpful check-in. Small double but nicely done, very modern and a lovely shower. Parking is right in front of the hotel and we were advised that as it was Sunday, the main car park was free until 9 am on Monday or we could park in the Ibis bays with a charge of 10€ until later on the Monday. Breakfast was great, lots of choice.
